Two Day Workshop - Creating Abstracts in Watercolor Class
We are pleased to announce that Georgia Shaw will be your instructor for this two-day workshop. Georgia has worked in watercolor for over 25 years, teaches watercolor at the WI Dells library, and the Oak and Fifth Gallery in Baraboo, and has exhibited at Zona Gale.

About the event
This is a back-to-back two-day workshop that begins at 9:00 AM and ends at 3:00 PM on both days.
First day you will learn what goes into creating an abstract and review the basics of working in watercolor. We'll create a geometric abstract and paint focusing on painting in layers. In the afternoon we will prepare a background.
Second day you will reveal your amazing backgrounds! Using this, you will create an abstract that incorporates your personal images, and interests that make a statement.
All watercolor painting materials are provided, but please bring along pictures, images, and magazines that can be cut and torn up that reflect who you are and what is important to you.
